Diriki Mack is a man of many talents. He has been the driving force behind Fuzion Entertainment and hip-hop group Vision Quest. In 1995, VQ released a single titled “Soul Clique†with another independent label and received critical acclaim from the likes of Billboard Magazine and Gavin. In order to have more control over the distribution of the music, Diriki decided to start his own entertainment company, Fuzion Entertainment, in 1998.In addition to being a member of VQ, Diriki has worked for more than eleven years at a major audio facility in NYC on a variety of television and film projects as a music composer, audio mixer and voiceover talent. Some of his projects include clients like ESPN, Showtime networks, MTV Networks and Russell Simmons presents Def Poetry, for which he created the show open. Diriki has also been working with some of the biggest talent agencies in NYC, doing voiceover work for a myriad of commercials, promos and other film and television work. In addition, he has loaned his talents to various independent films and Emmy nominated documentaries.Diriki graduated from New York Institute of Technology with a Bachelors degree in Communications in 1995. While in college, Diriki has worked at the world famous WBAU Radio Adelphi University with the likes of DJ Riz, Shamello Durant, Wildman Steve and Leaders of the New School. He did some remix work with Chuck D, gained advice from people like Eric “Vietnam†Sadler and Hank Shockley, and then went on to work at RCA Records. While working in the A&R department, he helped put together album and remix projects for SWV and various other artists.
Current projects Diriki is working on under Fuzion Entertainment include multiple tracks on the album for Tony Award winning Def Poet Poetri, full production duties on 2 full length albums for artist Paul Moses, as well as a new Vision Quest album with actor/poet Malcolm Jamal Warner and his band Miles Long.The experiences Diriki has gone through solidified his passion for building a career in the television, film and music industries.
