So here I am. On MYPSACE like millions of others on the planet. What am I about? Well, Lets see. I like stuff. I have two cats. Life is good to me, when it doesn't suck. I'm a little bit partier, a little bit hard worker, and another part dumb and smart, both pretty equal. I love my friends, I've been blessed with a good bunch, and I don't care what people think of me, no one is responsible for my happiness except me. I collect alot of crap, I live a good kinder surprise, and I take my Timmy's triple cream, one sugar. I'm a performer at heart, and the world is my stage. I like to shine, or I couldn't care less how I look. Someone once told me that I am hard to read, and I responded with "Its not that I'm hard to read, there's just no bookmark" so yeah, I can be all over the board, expect it.myspace

Collectibles, the war years, all things that don't suck. Archie comics, Mostly Betty and Veronica's, but I'll take any spin offs. Movies, friends, a good time.

I'd like to meet:

David Bowie, Tim Burton, Dan DeCarlo Jr., Dr. Seuss, Johnny Depp, Peggy Lee, Audrey Hepburn, Margaret Atwood, anyone with anything interesting to teach me. I don't know everything, and I'm not afraid to say so.

Music:

All of it. But I think that I like Jazz best (We're talking old school, Peggy Lee, Rosemary Clooney, I use the term Jazz very loosely) and have actually taken a real liking to old school british punk e.g. Iggy and the Stooges, the Stranglers. I'm big into Depeche Mode and Duran Duran, Pet Shop Boys,David Bowie, Hedwig and the Angry Inch Soundtrack, Lords of The New CHurch, NIN, the Cure, and anything that helps me bring out my closet case dancing Goth. Oh yeah, and another gem I discovered was Tears for Fears first album, The Hurting.The Cramps are always sexy, Dandy Warhols, For some goddam reason I can't stop playing Madonna's new album, Faith No MOre, Trooper ,(yes, I won't repeat myself)Sonic youth, the smalls, Gnarls Barkley. Also Tori Amos, and other talented female artists who are keeping it real. And my New FAVORITE BAND EVER is Nouvelle Vague. Thank you Wendi for making the world a better place.

Movies:

Anything Tim Burton. Marilyn Monroe Movies. Audrey Hepburn movies. And Hitchcock. I'm also a big supporter of the much neglected family movie. Some of the best movies out there are for all ages. Dark Crystal, Labrynth(did you know that Toby was Brian Frouds son with Wendi Froud. He met Wendi while making the dark crystal), and one of my new faves, A series of unfortunate events. That one was beautiful, candy for the eyes. Oh yeah, and Amelie was the sweetest most endearing movie that I have ever seen. Whenever I'm bummed out I watch it, and it never fails to cheer me up. Television:

You can't make me tell you. I won't confess to my reality television addictions. Shit. Look what I did. i like the regular stuff too, like the simpsons and family guy, but I really do love the Muppet Show (can't wait for season 2 to come out on DVD.) Oh yeah, My Name is Earl and the Office is pretty cool. I also like House, Jerico ( I like a good post apocolyptal story), watching the new slice chanel,Robot Chicken (I don't dig aqua teen hunger force though. HOw over rated can you get? Not even funny at all. But I like space ghost coast to coast, so there is no accounting for taste when it comes to TV for me0 chocolate moose

Books:

Anything by British writers. They have a sence of humour that just can't be compared. That's a country where no one takes themselves seriously. My favorite writers have got to be Neil Gaimen,Roald Dahl, Sue Townstead (If you liked the movie Napoleon Dynamite, you would love the Adrian Mole Diaries) And I also like Margaret Atwood, for when I have a need to feel a little academic. I like my books lite though, because I worked for a used book store for five years in the University section of Edmonton. Quit buying books to impress people with!!!! You'll read alot more. Also Brian Froud picture books, there is nothing like him.
