The Remedy to what's uninspiring in urban music right now...Honesty, whether positive or negative...A breath of fresh air...A party in spite of the pain...good music.
Born in the Germantown section of Philly but also living in Atlanta, VA, and Delaware before coming back home, Cesar always stood out from his peers.
"I been rapping since I could remember, writing my raps, battling, and just doing me." It was during the time that Cesar moved back to Philly (around the age of 13), that he really began honing his skills as a rapper, writing songs everyday and honing his craft. During this time is when he discovered his knack for writing catchy hooks and witty, thought-provoking lyrics.
By the time he was 17, Cesar was recording in different studios around Philadelphia at a rapid pace and has recorded songs produced by
Dre and Vidal, Bink, Matrax, Chaos, and Saint Man, to name a few. In the summer of 2005, his song "Gangsta" was highly requested on
Philly's DJ Cosmic Strictly Skills Kev's show on Power 99 and quickly became a street anthem...and when his mixtape "The Remedy" came out in the summer of 2006 with local rhyme-slingers like Ms. Jade, E-Ness (Bad Boy), and
Mike Knox (G-Unit), his song "Hey" was burning up the radio on
100.3 The Beat.
Cesar makes great catchy hooks, displays a very witty wordplay and flow that is able to change and adapt to any beat, and doesn't limit himself to just one topic. "I just like to make good music whether you wanna call it positive or negative, gansgsta or conscious...I like to do it in a way that will make you laugh, think, or just say 'Damn, u hear what this nigga said?!" My music brings emotions out of people: smiles, crys, laughs, anger...I don't care what it is: as long as you feel something..." And he's making you feel it one song at a time...
