I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am a ex-college football and basketball player with a short career in semi-pro football and rugby. So yes I am a BIG GUY at 6'6" and 350lbs.Everything I did was in attempt to play professional football to get the funds together to fund a raceteam. Yes my heart is in racing....I loved football but I LOVE RACING.I started drag racing in 1982 while in high school. I even raced while in college my coaches were not too thrilled with it either.. I've had owned many different race cars over the years. 1969 Buick Skylark (my first car), 1973 Plymouth Duster, 1970 Chevy Chevelle, 1964 Chevy Nova, 1971 Camaro, 1970 Z28 Camaro Outlaw 10.5/Super Street, currently still have my 1971 Dodge Dart Limited Street/Possible Drag Radial.Over the years I have had fun and the pleasure of meeting great people in the racing and automotive industry. In the coming years I welcome the chance to meet you and others like us with the passion and interest in cars and speed.I also design websites and do graphic design work. Besides racing, one of my other passions is motorsports marketing and how it applies to race teams and the businesses that benefit from it. Over the years I have worked with various racers and teams as a consultant. I am a racer with a marketing mindset and I am always thinking of different ways to provide a unique but effective way to get the message/product out there. What I learned about marketing was from the school of trial and error, various college courses and talking to people in the industry. Do I know everything....heck no..I am still learning everyday. If you know someone that is looking for a driver that is not only comfortable behind the wheel, but also has a marketing mindest and is comfortable with the media and public speaking I'm their guy. Please pass my name along you won't be sorry.
