people who do not look at the world from a normal prespective
cream, neutral milk hotel, josh ritter, neko case, the decemberists. Currently obsessed with these bands. I like others as well, but don't feel the need to list them all at this time.
grosse point blank, say anything, better off dead (anything with John Cusack), Gentlemen Perfer Blondes, how to marry a millionaire, bus stop (Marilyn is my idol), Almost Famous(this is an amazing movie! and the soundtrack is awesome as well) Down with Love, Drop Dead Gorgeous, To have and have not, Charade, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Fight Club, Love Actually, the virgin suicides, lost in traslation, twelfth night, hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, pride and prejudice(A&E version)
I like television, the mindless background noise.
okay, to answer this is too complex. Books are like a drug to me. When i get high, it's hard to come down. Right now i have been reading some classics stuff, 1984, Brave new world, looking at the future from the past, but that future has come to pass and where are we in relation now. have we escaped the horrors of those books? read and think about it. People who know me also know i am addicted to romance novels. How could you possibly do both, you ask? God only knows. a list of favorites: Pride and Prejudice, Shakespear in general, oscar wilde's plays: the importance of being ernest, an ideal husband(there are also some recent movies of these plays that are pretty good), jane eyre, the bell jar, bridget jones' diary, poetry by Wislawa Szymborska, the color purple, a portrait of the artist as a young man, trainspotting, the unbearable lightness of being...
Marilyn Monroe,
Audrey Hepburn,
