My Interests

I have various interests. I like to watch on tv: boxing, rodeo, basketball, baseball, pool tournaments, anything having to do with the Civil War or Native American culture. I'm descended from soldiers on both the Union and Confederate sides, though I do support the Confederate cause. Some think the Civil War was all about slavery, but one history lesson will clear that up.It was economic. I'm also descended from the Cherokee. My greatgrandmother was a Native American, who lived in the hills of Virginia, and I'm truly proud of this heritage above all others. I embrace their cultural beliefs. As a Tennessee country girl, I like comedies, dramas, do-it-yourself programs, and action movies. I also like classic cars and Harley Davidsons, though I don't have either one. As for my personal life, I have 2 beautiful daughters. The oldest being 25, the youngest is 21. The youngest has given me a beautiful granddaughter, Keyera Cerina, who was born on August 24,2005. She's the light of my life, and brings great joy to me. Keyera now has a baby brother, Trevin Joseph, born October 11, 2006. He's adorable. And I look forward to spoiling him, as much as my daughter will let me. lol

Heroes:

My hero is my mom. My dad died when I was 6 years old leaving my mom with 3 kids ages, 16, 6, and 3, and one on the way. She never remarried, and struggled to make ends meet. But, we never realized that we were poor, because we were rich in love. We always had nice clothes for school and plenty to eat. I realize now the sacrifices she made for us. For that, she is my hero.
