TMNT, TWIN PEAKS,
i like when youve reached a point in friendship/relationships where the other person knows when to leave you alone and when to come talk. i love my alone time.
music, art, film (david lynch), any of the dramatic arts, tmnt, travel (which i need to do more of), sixers!, vegan, going 2 the quarry, camping (no one likes to camp anymore),i love the ocean,i love my cat, LAUREN IS AN IDIOT, meditation, repetitive jokes, water w/ lemon, finding new music, sleeping, TMNT, reading,
intense conversation & comfortable silences
running in the warm summer rain. i love picnics in a park with PB&J on rye toast with RED jelly. i love Modest Mouse, Neil Young & Jeff Buckley. i love meeting people who are warm and naturally good hearted. i love learning that i was wrong about someone or something. (as rare as that may be. it occasionally happens). i love learning ways to expand and become more self aware. i love so many things in life...this list could be endless. i like SALT. i like icedtea with lots of lemon and i love hot tea in pretty mugs. sixers. i love having fish tanks, i love HELLO KITTY stuff, i love felix the cat movies (and baby huey), i love mix cds from Matt. and i'm amazed by NORTH STAR INFINITE. CHK EM' OUT. (www.northstarinfinite.com).
ENDEAVOR! -- i recommend everyone going to www.theoreport.com and educating your adorable brains. slurp slurp!
lastly - i think its important to mention (these arent necessarily interests but dont seem suited for any other category). i incessantly have a few random song lyrics forever playing in my head and i sing them. and put them into conversation. as if it was a normal thing. the songs are:
1. rock and roll hoochie coo!
2. grooves in the heart.
3. i dont wanna work i just wanna bang on the drum all day.
its not normal! you wouldnt believe how often these songs are playing in the jukebox of my mind...(sigh!) i dont even like these songs...it sucks!
im very intrigued by the human mind.
the french language, dramatic arts, psychology, i have a new interest in flower arrangements (and not the ugly dry ones),
writing - im always always always writing...existentialism has always attracted my attention. moral philosophy, physics, mathematics, learning new vocabulary, teenage mutant ninja turtles - heroes in a half shell - turtle power! i like lauren living with me, i like to lay on my floor, i like when my phone doesnt ring. just one night of that would be amazing. i like the science channel. ive got a growing desire to cook more
my love for pickles is indescribable - if you like SWEET pickles, dont waste your time contacting me. thats like blaspheme where i come from!
i dont know if any of my "interests" should be considered accurate right now, im very tired...i will revise this in the very near future and hopefully make it less overwhelming. thats a promise. (update: each time i revise, im still tired. making the updates more bizarre and lengthy. so im done trying)
how i feel about this past year & possibly this one:
"i'm gonna make it go away. like it never happened. like the author ran out of ink. before you got to me. it doesn't matter, you have your answer. my breath upon yer hand. cause we're never far from another life. but i never wanted to make you spend the night with your loneliest thoughts. will you come around this time. will i be left here. when so proudly we fail and all the optimists sing
"yeah, we'll be that far". when we'll be that far behind.
it's the drug distraction. they'll scream when i kick. but for every moment that i get too close. to the faceless void from which i stumbled. it's only because my heart swells over. and i misinterpret it, i dwell on my failures
cause i had parents who taught me to love. yeah, love was something they never knew. they never cared about you anyway. a hope vicarious, a captive audience. even the people that you call your friends can fuck you over in the subtlest ways. it'll be your comfort that you're always alone. they never cared about you anyway. they never care so much. as when you've lost your way. fire and brimstone where they lay me. heaven help us for a way to get out of here."
!!!! TMNT !!!!
i down with these wordy words:
"only in quiet waters things mirror themselves undistorted. only in a quiet mind is adequate perception of the world." - hans margolius
"the mind is its own place. and in itself can make a heaven of hell. a hell of heaven" - paradise lost
dr. house. (and the sensitive).
nate from SIX FEET UNDER, if his character was a real human being...in the real world and not in the tv box. if you know this person. let me know.
anyone having anything to do with the liking of, the possibilities of recreating of, enjoys this to the same degree as i, and so forth:
prodigy & havoc: [video below]

people who are super into Stevie Wonder and Steve Winwood
or people i can get some cherry pie with....
the number 1 person would be:::
someone who does all the above, and below. as well as, would throw rocks at my window or sing Girl from Ipanema into my phone.
lots of people who are no longer living, frances farmer for example.

people who concur w/ "THE SPEEDING TRAIN" - the van pelt..."to the trains go by, to the engines that gave me chills. to make fun of your poor classmates, you gave up these thrills.these are the beautiful, the rose’s petal. the steamship’s muscle, the sleight of hand hustle. they’re the deepest felt that do not get questioned. they’re the pure aesthetic that give us direction.they’re the softest skin, the thickest grin, the perfect pitch, the puppy’s chin. the speeding train, the arched ceiling, the curving hip, the soothing shade.do not be afraid to let it take you without jealousy, it’s guiltless pleasure, it’s freedom to its possessor. attraction’s a treasure we cannot hold, and the sake of one lover denies seduction’s hold.i answer to beauty, not weakness but reason, not spite but seasons, not wrong but feelings.to the softest skin, to the thickest grin, to the perfect pitch, to the puppy’s chin.to the speeding train, to the arched ceiling, to the curving hip, to the soothing shade.to the speeding train..."
