Gerard Henry is the creator and host of the highly rated Black Entertainment Television, Inc. (BET) Gospel music video show, “
Lift Every Voice" featuring up-close and personal interviews with leading Gospel Artists and Preachers in the nation. In its seventh season, Gerard’s show is among the network's most well received programs – Gospel or other.
In addition to his work with BET, Henry is also an inspirational speaker, speaking on various topics including abstinence, prayer, and discovering your destiny. It is over the course of his increased requests for speaking engagements that Henry began to develop the vision for his non-profit,
Legacy Principle Group (an organization that inspires young urban America to fulfill their purpose in life).
Henry states, “At this point in my life, having speaking opportunities is not enough. God is requiring me to use my platform and increasing celebrity on BET as a vehicle to not only speak to the hearts and minds of youth and young adults across this nation, but mobilize many who desire to make a lasting impact on the next generation.â€
