My name is Karen ~ I am dramatic and creative and I am always kind of changing. Oh inconsistent me, crying out for consistency! I still believe that I can make a difference in the world ~ with a little help from my Friend! It's amazing how God works...how beauty truly can be brought about from pain. I try to put God first in my life but I seem to fail a lot. I use up all my tolerance on certain people and then have none left over for the rest of the world. I am working on that and trying to project constant love.
Some of my favorite things are stars, my cats, summertime, reading books to children, tough love, my friends, silver jewelry, fair-trade coffee, organic foods, sushi, chopsticks, dark chocolate, eeyore, the sound of rain on the roof, music, books, baseball [ATL & PHL], soccer (used to play), grocery shopping, art, writing, sociology, coupons, sleep, dreams, pillows, pajamas, hope, getting the mail, stuffed animals, my brother, 8PP, 123, inside jokes at no one's expense, scrabble, jeopardy, tetris, making cards, helping, recycling, finishing drywall, learning new construction and home improvement skills, the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Laurel Ridge, balancing my checkbook, being able to notice a difference in anything. I will think of more.Some of the things I don't like are disrespect, psychology, excuses, washing dishes, cleaning in general, being tired, alarm clocks, litter, people with a poor work ethic, apathy, lying, tattletales, passive aggression, physical aggression, fear, anxiety. I don't like the fact that I put off (procrastinate) just about everything I have to do. I really don't like the fact that I am nearly always late. Some day maybe I will catch up...
