Hey whats up people im inka!
im a dj from london, had turntables for about 5-6 years - started out heavily in to turtablism but was never into battling, just used the skill to make party music!
Started playing out at the Deal Real launch party (2002 -big up Eddy Capone!) then became apart of the furniture in the shop, playing every Friday night for the open mics witch led to playing fo some of the biggest & best artists around (kanye, john legend, mos def, pharoh monch, skinny man, k-lashnekoff, frank & dank, the list gos on!)
if you know me then you know im not really feeling playing for mc's (unless its dnb) so i jumped at the chance to play all the after party's and corprate bull that playing for those names bring, however. being keen to show of my skill aswell as rock the party doesnt relly work in those type of places for numerous reasons.... the crowd are usually fools - too much money and not enough sense plus they always had a shit mixer, witch would kill my sets dead! (but i still rocked it!!!!)
something i really enjoy doing is showcases and playing for bands, i get to rock a pretty open minded crowd and through a whole heap of music on them. but the top of my list is making mixtapes, forget dj yoda im the king of cut and paste as people like to call it i would say i do it properly and the rest are cut and waste!!! lol
