Greetings. My name is Victoria and...well yeah! I love music and with it going to gigs. Been going to gigs since I was 13 and am always wanting new people to mosh with. I'm a mildish comic book geek, my favourites being JTHM, lenore, gloom cookie, walking dead and I also love manga like astro boy, sailor moon, ramna half, dominion and what not. I like playing with my laptop and ubercool shuttle desktop! When I can reading lots of fiction to escape from life (ha ha). This is all usually done while drinking way too much coffee...gods I love coffee in fact while you read this I'm probly drinking a cup of it right now. Uhhh not really sure what to say about who I am really. I'm very romantic at heart, I love seeing others happy and hate seeing people upset. I am currently going to Essex's fine fine university doing sociology and the media and all my mates are now spread across the UK leaving me on my loansome. Still university is a real experience and don't regret going one bit. It changes who you are for the better and I've never felt happier or more that I'm in place then now. Also made some great friends there, people I think I'll know for many years to come.
I live in Braintree when not at uni, not a bad town but I love Colchester. I work for the Freemasons in Colchester but was upset not witnessing any 'secret' handshakes. I'm from a huge family (2nd oldest of nine). We're like some freakish cult, scientology has nowt on us you will love the family Samuel :D I'm in a werid part of my life right now but that's kinda a good thing helps to create inspiration. I'm a very shy person so don't be offended if I don't look you straight in the face at first, it's just I'm a little scared of what you think. I'm aware of my awkwardness which isn't helped by my random bouts of hyperness but let me be me and I'm sure we might even get on. I'm not overly aware of how I look too. I make an effort if need be but I really dislike being told I need to look a certain way because usually I can't look how people want me to and I get rather annoyed by it all.
I often weirdly escape into my own mind at times which gets me in trouble cos I look like I'm gawking at people, can never day dream in peace eh? Has got me into trouble many a time. Also I'm very emotional so there's a good chance that if you know me you'll see me get angry/cry etc. I think personally I'm very irritating to some at times due to the fact I talk over people and get hyper (I've got a doctor's note for it now kinda so it's all good). I'm also very open about my life and who I am so some have said I have my heart on my sleave as it were. All I can say is...well not much I can't change who I am and don't really want to.
I love trying to grasp theories and ideas even if at the end of the day I really won't get it that well (Jean Baudrillard and Marshall McLuhan being two good examples!!!)
