About Me

the man that hath no music in himself nor is moved with concord of sweet sounds is fit for treason, strategems, and spoils: the motions of his spirit are dull as night, and his affections dark as Erebus. let no such man be trusted. mark the music.//shakespeare, merchant of venice

i worked full time at a book store and i'll cop to missing it. now i'm the office manager and executive assistant for a counseling and psychotherapy practice in downtown chicago. i am addicted to coca cola, cheddar goldfish, ice cream and pad thai. i'm a boston girl. i don't regret moving to chicago.

and i like parentheses and ellipses. a lot.

My Interests

building sandcastles, making snow angels, catching leaves, twirling, playing air hockey, ping pong, whack-a-mole, and skeeball, believing in impossible dreams, taking road trips, reading, curling up in comfy chairs, playing with the best doggie ever, taking long walks with no destination, hanging out with two adorable little sisters.at school i study educational theory, sociocultural theory, and musicology because i love it.

I'd like to meet:

people who have things to say. people who love music. people who are fascinated by people or by the world. people who try to truly live even when it hurts. people with passion.
