from The 8-Bit Age of The Cold War, when Human Beings were frightened of each other, living in mental shackles, seeking happiness in empty market racks,
expecting a Nuclear Attack every day. Throughout the years The 8-Bits made their successful campaign to rule human minds and The Nuclear Specter had
transformed itself into Ideological Media and Technological Slavery, based on spending and consumption. Now, Human Beings live in The Intimacy-Vacuum Space,
tracked by nets of Online Computer Systems, spending their lives in Entertainmarkets. Everyone is filled with everyday Fear caused by the Virtual Media
Violence on Demand. The ultimate evil aka MOTOFOKO..s Demand.

THE BAND
In 2004, a Hi-volume experiment that produced six self-authored songs was established. ATARI TERROR was decided as the only possible name. After some rehearsals and Drill Camps the first gig went on the 3rd of February, 2005. This was an important step that caused the supporting of “Local-star†bands and independent gigs. The first CD was released in June of 2005 with the name PART 1: THE RISE OF MOTOFOKO - FIRST BLOOD . ATARI TERROR took place on many prestigious venues such as The Prague’s Musical Trade Fair or The Rock for People Festival where they shared the stage with The Leningrad Cowboys and Agnostic Front. They also experienced unexpected success by winning The SIBA Music Chance in summer 2006 and The Jack Daniel’s Music in 2007.
In April 2007 ATARI TERROR attends The Global Music Event in Nashville, USA .
Other important venues came right after, for example hosting in the biggest Czech summer festivals, appeariences in Czech TV Channels, radios, printed medias and performances in neighbouring Poland (Warsaw, Katowice) and Slovakia (Bratislava. ATARI TERROR..s show from Warsaw..s Hard Rock Café was relayed LIVE by the polish radio station ANTYRADIO .
On the 21st November 2007 the second CD with the name PART 2: ATTENTION! was introduced to the general public. The CD has many positive reviews (Spark, Rock&Pop, Filter, Report, Abyss, ...).
The roots of ATARI TERROR stretch back to the punk-grunge-metal era, but other influences come from hip-hop, electronica, folk and world music. The band does many experiments with the feel and sound of their music; the most substantial was cooperating with Prague’s beatbox underground that went into live Crossover/Beatbox battles.
