Uncompromising loose and rocking songs belong to the specialities of the group from the black soul of the German Ruhr area. Since 2003 more than 200 gigs have been absolved by James Mean (vocals), Swen O Heiland (guitars) and Christos Efthimiadis (drums). These took place in nine different countries. Always powerful, always in time, always on the run. In autumn 2004 King's Tonic (or briefly: K's T) published their first record called "... haven't heard of you either" (Dinstinct/Sony CMS). It was mastered by producer's legend Eroc (Grobschnitt, Philip Boa).
Then it went on without a break: King's Tonic win among other awards the Bochum newcomer's festival and conquer the campus radio charts. The trend sports broadcasting show Stoke and the movie Movienight of Extreme Sports use their songs to give hot action sequences even more power. National and international sampler contributions as well as radio airplays on all relevant German broadcasting stations like Eins LIVE, MDR or SWR stand on the present diligence cards of the ambitious band.
Live, King's Tonic are a brutal affair that like it loud. VERY loud.
They have supported international well reputated bands such as Liquido, Running Wild, Emil Bulls or J.B.O. King's Tonic proved that they have no respect for the big stadium format with up to 25,000 fans. Also in appearances during the world championship in 2006 or in Sochi/Russia during the Olympic assignment for 2014 they proved that international audiences are no problem for them. Resulting in tours through dozens of cities in Austria, Great Britain, China, Russia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai…
"Catchy Vocals, riffs with pop punk's power - this tape has energy ", the German rock journal Guitar and Bass attested to them, and also Eins LIVE considered: "not only very well rocking songs, but also a thriller on the stage". This is why one of Germany’s major radio stations supports the band since 2007.
The band is young, hungry for success and, nevertheless, well equipped with an extraordinary live and studio experience. With their new record "Fuck Your Neighbour", K’s T are up to rock stages all over the world and to show every audience how a real Rock’n Roll show should look like.
