Motive

.Motive is one of the premier artists on the Memphis undaground Music scene. As a producer/ engineer he's worked with most of the Memphis rap and music legends (Al Kapone, Tom Skeemask, Dj Squeaky, LaChat, Boss King, Eric Gales, MJG, DJ Zirk and many others husslin on a local level). Whether providing production, engineering, or computer/software services, Motive has earned his time to shine. With his group SK (Southern Koalytion) grinding in the streets of Memphis daily, the movement will soon be in full swing. In 1995 Motive, then called Mac or Playa Moe featured on the infamous mix tape Pimps & Playas Vol. 1., which sold over 1000 in Memphis and the tri-state area and is still considered by some an undaground classic. Later in 1996 the group M-Town Family was formed later to be changed to SK with the addition of new members. Which consisted of Motive, Fatt Mack, Renzo, Koppo, and Syx Fyve? They released "Money Over Everything" 1997 under the family label Junction Records (now Artistry Entertainment). Selling as well in the same areas, including Kentucky and Missouri.
