* * *Well first of all I think that there is just too much to say about myself in order to put it into words.....
I think as an artist we often express ourselves best through our creativity...so I will let my slide show and my blogs tell the tale of a part of ME.....why do I use quotes with my pictures? Well - I remember a time in my life when I actually forgot that people have had more struggles than me and I forgot all the great things this life has to offer. These quotes I have gathered from some of the most amazing people remind me of the things that I MUST think about everyday! I try not to let the little things get to me everyday - but it sure is hard!
After all - Life is pretty awesome isn't it? Do not get me wrong - I know we ALL have our share of ups and downs. MAN - everyday is such a learning exp. I have learned so much about my self through all my mistakes and heartaches. I remember at times saying to myself "why me?" and I guess the thing we learn as we get older is that all those things really do happen for a reason. Sometimes we really have to try hard and focus on the positive things- rather than getting ourselves brought down by all the negative.

My friends are my family and when I am not working - I try to spend as much time with my son and my close friends!

One of the greatest things I have accomplished in my life was traveling to south america for months - we volunteered teaching children and adults English as a second language...in the most remote, poverty stricken areas. We spent time in- Peru- Chile - Argentina - Uruguay - Bolivia as well as spent some time in Mexico D.F.....
The time I spent in these countries- was just as my blog is named " I went to teach - and in return was Taught".
Being a part of these different cultures and living with the people there taught be one of the greatest lessons in life....WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!

Film:
As for my passions: actually ALL things creative - I am currently working on a feature film and 2 short films.I feel so blessed and happy to be doing the things that I love everyday. I had the pleasure of working on a few music videos and have a few more that we will be filming this year!* * *
My photography calender called "Latin America" is set for distribution 2008, it will be a collection of photographs from my travels in South America along with amazing shots from Craig Ryan Ballin.
Currently I am working as a photographer for several models/actors/musicians here in the area..... I mainly do my photography on the weekends - so if you would like to shoot with me - give me a call - I am open for all sorts of shoots!* * *
EXCITING STUFF:I am a partner and spokeswoman with "Tomorrow's Hope" Foundation this foundation aids children whose parents have been incarcerated . I hope to bring the liberal arts to this foundation and give these children the opportunity to explore their creative self or get the opportunity to see all the things that the arts can bring to your life.....:-)
I hope to have a fashion show benefit this year to raise some money for these children.

This myspace has been good and bad in my life - I mostly keep this to keep in touch with friends and to network with people that I would NEVER have the oppourtunity to connect with otherwise.
All in all if you are here reading about me for any other reason other than you are my friend or would like to network with me....i think your time would be more valuable concentrating on your own life! I mean I think we all need to do that a little more...don't you?PLEASE REMEMBER...........................
