About Me

"Sometimes its so hard to find what it is I'm trying to say. People might think you can turn creativity on and off, but it's not like that. It just kinda comes out-a mashup of all these things you collect in your mind. You never know when it's gonna happen, but when it does, it's like magic. It's just that simple...and it's just that hard". -GWEN STEFANITHEATER UPCOMING Theater: I am currently experiencing a delay in my theater schedule! :)
RECENT Theater: Well....after spending my years since the age of 2 working in theater, I recently left the Dallas HUB Theater after devoting 4 years of blood, sweat and tears as a core ensemble actress. It was a difficult but necessary split, one that has allowed me to venture over into film, music and modeling. Most recently, I worked as the Stage/Musical Director for Top Gun the Musical at the Dallas HUB Theater and acted in the roles of Amanda and Brittany in Brittany's Brutal Birthday. Recently, I worked as the Assistant Musical Director at Kids Who Care with the ever effervescent Deborah Jung!
MODELING:
UPCOMING Modeling: This Thursday night, I will be at LIFT LOUNGE as a host for Net Party (dallas.netparty.com). Come network with other young professionals! Recently, I interviewed with a modeling agency that I will begin some modeling with on April 4th-6th. I am gearing up as one of the models in the 2Fit4U Workout DVD with the AWESOME expert and personal trainer, Christina Yielding set for international distribution! I will also be appearing in the 2008 issue of Fresh Face Magazine International!
RECENT Modeling: I worked as a model on the Goldwell Hair Show in Dallas. I was also one of twenty models to participate in the Model's Camp where I worked with some of modeling's top industry experts, including Lakiska from the Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency! Aside from promos for the US Airforce and ongoing promos for Borghese International, I recently participated on the runway in the National Model's Expo presented by Steppin' Stones Productions and print modeling for the Jon Carlo Collection by hot new designer Dominique Mack. I of course devote any of my time modeling for Photography by Chelsie Dawn.
FILM:
UPCOMING Film: NEWS FLASH!!!! I was cast in the lead female role of Robin, a NY born and bred thief/drug addict in the Owen Boys Productions short film "The Purse" opposite featured actor Liam Owen under the direction of Chris Owen. I am super excited to work with them and have the opportunity to portray a character with some grit, depth and some rapid emotional changes. "The Purse" is set to film in February. For more info., check back here (I think you can also visit IMDB). I was just cast in the principal role of Carmilla in the feature-film Bloodwine produced by Doom Bunny Films which is filming up in Oklahoma with the fabulous Patrick Keith directing and super-phenom Vicky Keith-Morgan on the screenwriting and producing end(see my audition reel for the film here: http://bloodwinemovie.blogspot.com). Also, we just welcomed on another producer, Chris Frazee (who totally won me over in the first 5 minutes after he stopped the camera to tame a few flyaway hairs! Now THAT'S detail work! HAHAHA!) We are so lucky to have his 20+ years of TV & motion picture expertise on this exciting venture as he has worked on top movies such as: Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday Night Lights, as well as the current hit Fox TV series Prison Break in addition to many others. In the meantime, I am scheduled to appear as the psychologist in the film "Sins of a Father" which is being filmed by Hollywood Norris Productions. The role I accepted in a new full-length feature film set to shoot at the end of 2008 entitled "Desperate" currently has a hold on the schedule and I am awaiting details on that AND...if you didn't read in my modeling section...I am gearing up as one of the models in the 2Fit4U Workout DVD with the AWESOME expert and personal trainer, Christina Yielding set for international distribution!
RECENT Film: I recently filmed with director Aron Cho (Captain Kitty Cinema) in his movie "101 Secrets" as an actress portraying a vampire in a bad tv show. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my friend Darius was playing opposite of me! :) I had SOOO much fun with everyone on the set AND I just found out that "101 Secrets" will be in the 2009 Sundance Film Festival-woohoo!!! I also worked with Matt and Jane at Hiraya Conspiracy Productions on the dark comedy "Nelly the Executioner" as Mrs. Ricky where I had an absolute blast with EVERYONE! My first lead role in "Deadline" with Wolf Entertainment Productions is in post-production. If you would like to see the new trailer, click here: http://www.wolfentertainment.net.
MUSIC: I am currently working on some rap/r&b tracks with Vinnie Vegas at One Label Records. I also had the wonderful opportunity to sing with Rebecca Lowrey and friends in a benefit concert to support some really awesome single moms in need out in Ft. Worth, TX with some of my ever-faithful fans in attendance (luv ya bunches!).
PRODUCTION: It is with much regret that production is currently halted; hopefully, I will have NEW news for you soon and more to report. In the meantime, energies are focused toward certain outside projects requiring immediate attention.
OUR BELIEFS & OUR CAUSE: We firmly believe that we must be the change we want to see in this world. We also believe any financial success we find in our endeavors are given to us in order to make those resources available to others-after all, what is the point of financial abundance if you cannot help others in need? This is why our production company has partnered up with the Tomorrow's Hope Foundation. Tomorrow's Hope Foundation serves to assist children of incarcerated parents and is officially recognized by the IRS as an 501C non-profit organization.
Watch me as Mrs. Ricky in Hiraya Conspiracy Productions' "Nelly the Executioner" now! (Chances are, you will get to view it before I do! HAHA!)
