About Me

Socrates is originally from Dallas, TX...in his youth Socrates grew up around music, with his Mother being a pianist. Music has always been in his blood and the creation of sporadic sounds. As a teenager, Socrates got his start in a rap group in which he produced his first album at the age of 16...Socrates later went to college to earn his degree in Business Mangmt...his follow up album was produced solely by himself at the age of 20 for artist mate N.E.T. This album sold and caught the attention of many. Socrates only released the album overseas, with Japan being the primary point of attention. Currently, Socrates has worked on many commercial works for Network Television, Indie Film Work, labels such as Sony, Universal...Socrates moved to New York in 2006 with aspirations to further his music production career which is what he currently is accomplishing. Involved with many upcoming artist and he is associated with many known talents. Socrates is not only a musical great, he is also a published writer with over 30 publications under his belt. Recently voted as one of the best upcoming literary writers by International Poets Association. Please enjoy his music, the vibe and remember...
