About Me

We are Gaius. We are a death/grind band from Sugar Land Texas. We formed in in december of '03 and stuff. We play fast.
Gaius was formed by Drew Grant (guitar) and Justin Liles (vocals) simply because they were a couple of bored dudes. They used a drum machine, due to the lack of drummers in the area, and recorded a rare live album called "living an acid trip" which featured songs like "no dice", "acid shower", "ted bundy", "misanthropic ecoterrorist", "fuck fashioncore" and "regurgitation of genitals". They played a few really random, obscure shows. These included 2004's Coonfest, and a random show in a forest off of Madden Rd. Later, the band decided that in order to progress, they would need to branch out and obtain a bassist and second guitarist. Thus, the band went searching and borrowed Terminal Ambience guitarist Michael Autry, and Cunt Destroyer bassist Tiffany Slaughter. The lack of drummers still left the band using a drum machine however. Michael and Tiffany soon became full time members of Gaius.

Sounds Like: Hipsters blowing their brains out with shotguns and getting their limbs hacked off with machettes and while their flesh is being consumed by giant fire ants.
