blessiddoom began in 2004, with three original members, eddie, sherri, and russ who shared a love for heavy music. the band started writing songs together, and soon realized that they must take their sonic assault to the masses of western montana. in 2006 a solid lineup had finally been secured with the addition of reuben on rhythm and paul on drums.with a full band in place, the band opened up shows for domeshots and northwest royale in spring of 2006. soon after the band began recording their first demo entitled "the blessid end". comprised of eight tracks entitled: neural destructor, all or nothing, governmental sodomy, silence is death, trinity, bludgeoned in a breath, fear mother and sacrifice.the band capped off their first summer as a band, by releasing their demo at the METAL MANIA show in missoula. a full day of metal on two stages. 2006 has been mostly about building the bands following in missoula, but will soon branch out to include other western montana cities, and a full blown tour after that.in september of 2006, reuben quit the band. blessiddoom became a four peice band for the first time. instead of auditioning new guitar players the band decided to continue on without an extra guitar, knowing it would be difficult to find a new member as dedicated to blessiddoom as they were.blessiddoom has played with: domeshots, northwest royale, the absence, takeover, separation of self, drown out the stars, utterance, burn in silence, year of desolation, dose, universal choke sign, undun, prokaryon, the four horsemen, deadletter, at home in hell.
