SIXTEEN PENNY was formed in December 2006. Despite having a rocky start and having a few line up changes the core of this band has proved they have the heart to succeed. Down to three members, the life of this band depended on finding the missing pieces to making the band complete again.XvI Penny is a five piece all original bands that loves to perform. You can feel the raw energy and chemistry of this band every time they hit the stage. With their roots in heavy melodic music you can always expect to have a heart pounding roller coaster ride of a show! With the completion of their 5 track EP "WASTED" their full length "LIVE" self titled album and a brand new cd in the works the band has been very busy. With well over a hundred shows under their belt, one being the world famous Whisky Ago Go, crowned winners at several battles of the bands and air time on the local KISS fm the band decided to start spreading the word outside their home region. After been given the opportunity to play venues from Montana, Idaho, Utah, Nevada & California, Sixteen Penny hopes to continue on the road of adventure and see where it takes them.
