Right now, my most recently watched "new" movie was a bootlegged copy of Final Fantasy: Advent Children. It was good. What else. I loved V for Vendetta. Boondock Saints; Kill Bill; Battle Royale; High Tension; Six-String Samurai; Pulp Fiction; Resevoir Dogs; A Clockwork Orange; Dr. Strangelove, or How I Stopped Worrying and Learned to Love the Bomb; Casino Royale (the original Peter Seller's movie); Dr. No (Okay any old Bond movie); the Untouchables; Full-Time Killer; Ichi the Killer; Samurai Fiction; Suicide Club; Full-Metal Jacket; A Fistful of Dollars; The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly; For a Few Dollars More; Unforgiven; any Star Wars that Jar Jar Binks didn't have more than 10 minutes of screen time; Mad Max; Chopper; the Road Warrior; Camp Sleepaway (thanks Shortstack); Halloween; Aragami; the original Zatoichi movies; Seven Samurai; Magnificent Seven; the Pink Panther; mirrormask; all George Romero movies; To Kill a Mockingbird; Swingers; Made; Quadrophenia; Reign of Fire; Transformers the Movie; GI Joe, the Movie; Menace II Society; Schindler's List; The Beast; Usual Suspects; There's a bunch more, but I'm too busy to try to organize these all right now. I choose life as the category for this post, because I have and will watch and read more in my life. Various things I've read have influenced me more than others. Take Shakespeare, for example....No seriously...take him and burn him. This was a bad example...moving on.I bring this up, because I recently did a survey about the direct correlation between the amount of movies you've seen and you're lack of a life. I scored fairly high. I was just thinking...a lot of those movies I've seen...I'm not so horribly proud of having seen them. And I list having seen the Japanese originals as counting more than the American remakes (that unto itself, should say that I have no life). So now, I MAKE A LIST! Of movies that I've seen and books/graphic novels that I've read....And there was great rejoicing.MOVIES Boondock Saints V for Vendetta Oldboy (Korean) Battlefield Baseball (horribly wonderful) (Japanese) Wild Zero (wonderfully horrible) (Japanese) Dr. Strangelove Casino Royale (Peter Sellers' version, not the new one) Battle Royale (one of my favorites)(Japanese) The Limey The Professional A Fistful of Dollars The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly For a Few Dollars More The Princess Bride Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Seven Samurai Magnificent Seven Shaolin Soccer Goldfinger Octopussy The Spy Who Loved Me From Russia With Love On Her Majesty's Secret Service (George Lazenby was the WORST Bond ever) Dr. No Live and Let Die The Living Daylights Tomorrow Never Dies The World is Not Enough GoldenEye A View to a Kill PI Memento Star Wars I: The Phantom Menace Star Wars II: Attack of the Clones Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith Star Wars IV: A New Hope Star Wars V: Empire Strikes Back Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi Fellowship of the Ring The Two Towers The Return of the KingA quick side note: Just watched Clerks 2 again...And there really is only one Trilogy.
