Please read this before adding me: If you're an egomaniac, into starting drama, stuck on yourself, or generally unpleasant - DO NOT ADD ME. I do not like drama - I don't want to deal with yours!! I'm a free spirit. I always swam against the current, and paid the price for not conforming. I've learned a good lesson from a rough childhood - the value of good friends and good company. And of course.. Good music! ;-) I found the jungle/dnb scene somewhere in '97. Tekstep was begining to take over in the UK, but here kids were still playing their jumpup records. That's what I fell for instantly. Old jump is my favorite - like '95ish, but I like everything from the begining to '97 style. I love old Tekstep, and I really embraced the rollers. So far I've watched an amazing evolution in jungle and dnb. Don't really know how long exactly I've been spinning, but I only started playing out a year or so ago. I'm shy, but I'm in a crew - well I've actually BEEN in a crew. Now we're starting to do things. I love my crew. We are called Transgression. We believe in playing vinyl. Unless any of us write something we didn't press - we have CD-Js for that, as well as for those producers who would play for us that also haven't been able to press their shit. No laptop programs such as Torque, Final Scrach, Serato, etc. will be allowed at our events. We don't cheat.... And neither should you!! ;-} Let's see... What ARE my interests...? Taggin' out with my girl Marsha, collecting vinyl - jungle, dnb, (good) hip hop, one day learning DMC style turntablism, playing with my husband and the rest of my crew... Doing anything I can to help move the scene I care so much about in a positive direction... Watching anime, working out and staying in shape (shedding some of these winter pounds! hahaha!) Philosophy, deep thinking that leads to intelligent dialogue with other people - especially those who can teach me something, martial arts, and finally one day transcending - the ultimate goal of enlightenment, wisdom, knowledge, and self control. I'm also a political activist. I believe in stopping our government from establishing the New World Order. For those of you who believe it's too late - it isn't. We can change things! We need organization. I've found a network of others who are as upset by our government as I am. I would rather die than live in a totalitarian society where we become slaves to microchips and corporations. People who aren't brainwashed by the controlled media need to pay attention to shit... .. .. ..
