In short time, HELANGÃ…Rs increasing fame has evolved from only two published records. The first one "Evening in Valhalla" - a setting of the north mythology - was published in 2003 and turned out to be a great success. Hence it was sold out very quickly. The second release "Schlafes Bruder" was inspired by the same denominated successful book from Robert Schneider ("Brother of sleep"). The story constructs a world of disasters - both personal and natural. When dreams are no longer possible and all hope is gone, life has no meaning.
After several changes in their line-up HELANGÃ…R have reverted to their core: the brothers Florian and Johannes. All former members left or had to leave the band.
The next record will be released in May 2007.
