BIOGRAPHY
ABOUT
Wake-Up Call is a punk-rock band from the suburbs of Montreal with the goal to create high energy music. By applying catchy guitar and bass riffs mixed with melodic vocal tones, they produce a great-sounding final product. Their songs fall under several genres including punk, rock, and pop so that fans can enjoy various styles of music while listening to the same band.
THE PAST
In Late 2004, Brendan and Franki decided to come together to make the best music they possibly can. They needed to complete the band by finding a bassist. After struggling to find one, a long time friend of Brendan named Mark was named official bassist on October 1st, 2005.
Into 2006, the band has come a long way by improving musically and gaining stage experience with live shows. By doing so, they have created a name for themselves on the West island music scene. After a month off at the beginning of summer 2006, Wake-Up Call began recording in studio to create their 3 song debut demo album entitled "Take It or Leave It".
THE PRESENT
Into 2007, Wake-Up Call continued writing brand new material, and decided to enter studio once again to begin the production of "Chapter II", their long awaited follow-up release. Wake-Up Call's new material and refined sound is assured to indulge their listeners, and broaden their growing fan base.
From late 2005 to early 2007, Wake-Up Call has been a trio, but in May 2007, after many failed audition attempts, Wake-Up Call got their 4th member, Jonny Saltarelli, adding musical depth and an overall increase to their stage presence. This news was unveiled at their June 16th, 2007 show at Club Soda.

December 1.07. Another song is posted from "Chapter II", along with a brand new background.
August 3.07. It's been one year since Wake-Up Call's first release, and now they are back with new songs posted from their EP "Chapter II", which will be released fully for sale August 17th, 2007
June 17.07. After playing a show last night at Club Soda, Wake-Up Call has made it official to unveil their 4th member, Jonny Saltarelli.
Wake-Up Call has started scheduling dates for the production, recording, mixing, and mastering of "Chapter II" with their new producer Kevin Jardine.

November 17.06. Wake-Up Call shot the video for "Thoughts Ring True" which can be seen during their February appearance on CTV's Entertainment Spotlight.
