Paul Williams was a founding member of the Motown R&B group, The Temptations, along with his boyhood friend Eddie Kendricks. The Tempts were known for their soulful harmonies and dance steps, courtesy of Paul...and their sleek, stylish dress...courtesy of Eddie. Paul was a member of The Temptations from 1961 to 1971 and sang lead on a multitude of great songs.
Paul left the group in mid 1971 because of health problems.

Paul Williams passed away on August 17, 1973 at the age of 34.
