Ricoshay are a 4 piece Indie/Rock Band from Scotland which branched off from other bands in early '07 to form Ricoshay. The lads had all been on the music scene for years and known each others talent so decided it was time to get serious and make things happen.
The 4 members are:
With our front man Sean Robertson.
On to our Guitarist Rod McAllister.
We now have our bass player Mark Thomson.
Then on to our drummer Gus Scott, the fastest guns in the north!
From being together for just over a years these 4 lads have accomplished alot in this time, the lads have gigged along side big signed bands such as "The Wombats" and "The Displacements", and Headlining gigs in cities like London, Stoke, Glasgow, and of course Aberdeen. By playings in venues like "The Lemon Tree (Aberdeen), "Barfly" (Glasgow), "The Capital" (Glasgow), and "moshulu" (Aberdeen), the lads are used to playing to big crowds in big cities and always bringing new faces to there following of fans.
In the first 6 months of being together the guys reached the final of O'Neil's Battle of the Bands (and Ricoshay should've got the decision), got there track "You're My Revelation" played on the radio, and in January 2008 the lads was also featured in NME Magazine for there gig at Barfly (Glasgow).
