Originating from the North East of Scotland Kashmir Red are a Rock N Roll band who have genuine meaning behind their music. Having only been on the go for 9 months the Aberdeen 3 piece have created a massive following which has led them to gig extensively all over Scotland. With their "wall of sound" performances accompanied with stand out melodies their live show has become one of the highlights of 2007 in the Aberdeen music scene.After regretfully turning down a mini tour of the United States East coast in October 2007 the band are hoping to return to the US in mid-late 2008 to fulfil their ambition of playing in the USA. With their American sound they were destined to be a huge success in the states until lack of money and working Visa's put a stop to this amazing opportunity.However now with more experience and a back catalogue that could rival any band in their surrounding area the boys feel they are ready to look further a field than their native Aberdeen and may have to possibly relocate south if their dream is to become a reality. Although stand out songs such as "Rolled In Gold" and "High Times" are already huge fan favourites, it's new material such as "The Kings And The Queens and All the Inbetweens" and "August Paths" which seems to be grabbing the attention of their new fan base.With their huge sound and catchy sing-a-long choruses Kashmir Red may be the band to watch for 2008.
