About Me

John Started Off In some bands the main one The Key-Headers which he is still in and had writen some songs. He didnt put his ideas forwards to the bands but decided to do some solo work. He wrote a song called 'Be There For me' and soon enough some of his friends got a hold of it and everyone starting liking the song.He Has to thanks Stuart Hackett and Paul Young for promoting his songs if it werent for them his songs would not have been heardHes Been working on an album for couple of months so hes gotten a fair sketch on what its oing to be like. Also has a cover album which has almost been finished with some acoustic classics like The Verves ' The Drugs Dont Work' Oasis' 'Half The World Away' and Ocean Colour Scenes 'Robin Hood'. His solo work has came up trumphs in his school Peterhead Academy with song 'Be There For Me' catching everyone and new song 'What A Party' is just coming up but so far has good reviews.John has played gigs around aberdeenshire with his band The Key-Headers and formally with his band The Rays in places such as Peterhead, New Deer and Strichen but is hoping to get himself some shows in Aberdeen to set off him as a part time solo performer.

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: John Just plays himself with his acoustic guitar and sings but in some songs there are drums which are played by a friend--Guitar & Vocals- John Milton.
Influences: His influences come from solo artists such as James Morrison and Paulo Nutini but others include Kelly Jones(Stereophonics) Ocean Colour scene Pete Doherty(Babyshambles) and Freddie MercuryFreddie Mercury is a huge inspiration to John because of Freddies stage presence and the way that he is a performer is just what he looks up to be.Pete Doherty is just a great songwriter and john hopes to be where he is one day .He loves Kelly Jones because he went to see Stereophonics at the Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre and just loved the way they were and there set and how they performed, he said one of the best bands hes seen.Paulo Nutini and James Morrison for the same reasons the fact that they are both like him vocals and Acoustic guitar and have had huge first albums with amazing songs so that is whom he looks up to.
