"Pianist----organist----keyboardist----writer---arranger---- producer------MUSICIAN........Drew was a two time winner of the NY State Music Association Best High School Jazz Pianist.....He went to college for studio music and jazz at THE U, University of Miami, on a full scholarship. Drew has played scores of musical styles from jazz, to pop, to gospel and r&b, to rock and fusion. While at Miami, Andrew won a variety of honors from downbeat awards (BW ensemble, Funk Fusion Ensemble, Bop Brothers, and the Concert Jazz Band) and performed with top artists of contemporary jazz in the world famous U of Miami Concert Jazz Band (rated downbeat magazines best collegiate big band during andrews tenure). a keyboard afficionado, having extensive experience with over twenty different keyboards and synths, from the original minimoog model d, to roland, korg, and yamaha "rompler" workstations, with an assortment of VA's, analog polysynths, samplers, and virtual instruments thrown in too......As a producer, Drew has helped artists elevate to major exposure including features on the HBO show Entourage, and record deals with major labels......He is currently living in New York City, but has spent a large portion of his career as a top player in the Miami music scene, and tours out of Los Angeles.....Hit him up for your keyboarding, MDing, composition or synth programming needs.
