About Me

Friends and family, including all of the critters in the world are where my heart is. I play in a band called The Everyday Fight(check us out on my top 8!). Half the world knows my as Ethan, half as Zach, and everyone says I look like Will Ferrel. I have a fabulous girlfriend named Andi and an extremely lovable Pitbull/Husky mix with three legs named Obi and another pitbull mix named Athena. I lived in Egypt for 6 months and freakin' miss it. I'll be finishing my degree (finally after 12 years out of high school) May '07 and then I'll hopefully be heading out of the country somewheres again.

My Interests

Music, my girl and my family. But not in that order.

I'd like to meet:

Some friends of friends and keep in touch better with old friends whom I never see anymore. And people down for the same causes as me: Straight Edge, Vegetarinism, Political issues (all stemming from questioning equality and humanity).

Music:

I love Hip Hop and hardcore first and foremost. Mostly music that doesn't get radio play, because that stuff is usually mindless pap. A few of my favs are Mos Def, Bane, Jedi Mind Tricks, Comeback Kid, Hakim, Miles Davis, Trip Hop, and tons and tons others.

Movies:

Lots of indepent, political, and short films.

Television:

TV is bad for you, but I've always been a fan of The X-Files and now Andi is getting me into CSI. Let's take a look at what TV news is like in america:..

Books:

Anything by Paulo Coelho or John Irving. Star Wars! Dan Brown, Sun Tzu, Miamoto Musashi, and more recently the Harry Potter series (Thanks to Andi).

Heroes:

Well the closest thing I have to heroes would be... KRS One, Chuck D, Henry Rollins, Naguib Mahfouz, this old man named Joe who used to swim at my pool, maybe Hellboy if I ever get around to watching it. (Just watched it... F' NO!). Paolo Coelho, the RZA, and everyone who ever pursued Love, Victory or the Glory of God!
