Often described as "Spirited", Sammi Grrl has made a name for herself as a drummer & DJ. Originally from Buffalo, NY, Sammi Grrl began playing drums at a young age in her father's church and later on in life defining the craft and love for the turntables. Accredited as a musician with SLAMjamz, Sammi Grrl has joined forces with Chuck D of Public Enemy/ C.E.O of SLAMjamz Records on such projects with SLAMjamz artist’s Most Hi-Fi's debut CD/DVD "Everything's Gonna Be Alright" as their drummer/live performances and SLAMjamz Female Compilation Fall 2006 project Crew Grrl Order “B Grrl Stance†debut CD/DVD as their DJ and drummer, which includes artist Ms. Ebonee, Retina and Lady Payn and also along performing with multiple bands within Los Angeles, CA, House of Blues and Atlanta, GA, The Apache Cafe and other music scenes. Sammi Grrl continues her passion as a musician tradition by 'womaning' the turntables as well as the drums.
