About Me

So, people sometimes come up to me and say 'Hey! You're Tommy and I hear you on the radio all the time!!' It's weird sometimes when people treat me like I'm something special just because of what I do. In all honesty, I'm just a regular guy, doing regular things, trying to get my degree and lead a normal life. I happen to have a really fun job. So here's really the 411 on me. Enjoy! :)Some people think I only care about radio...not true, it's just my passion I'm a big big fan of cheesecake I think I have pretty teeth and sometimes I like to smile just to show them off I recently heard that beautiful women will go for ugly guys who make a lot of money, if that's the case, then I'm doubly screwed Sometimes I have days where I could swear I was 80 years old when my knees and back ache and I forget where I park my car Someday I'd like to take a trip outside of the United States Someday I'd like to go to New York City Ironically my favorite vacation spot is St. Louis, weird huh? I talk....a lot.....no really.....a lot.Anyways, I just graduated from Southwestern College in Winfield with my degree in Communication with an emphasis in radio and television broadcasting...now its time to get my Masters in Business Adminstration starting in July! It's been a wild and crazy ride! I'm a DJ and beginning in May 2008 you can hear me at Kissin' Country 102.1 (KZSN) in Wichita! You may have heard me in the past on My 93.1 FM (KHMY) in Central Kansas doing anything from mornings to middays to weekends and the occasional live broadcast. I've also been a DJ and the General Manager at Southwestern's radio station KSWC FM (100.3 The Jinx). And yes, you may have heard me on some other stations, including KSOK 95.9 FM/1280 AM in Winfield/Ark City and KFBZ (105.3 The Buzz)in Wichita.I'm a big fan of music, sports, acting (especially improvisational, like Whose Line Is It Anyway) and trying to stay positive and motivated in my 'Pursuit of Happiness'I have a great family, and some really good friends in my life, and I think I'm a pretty decent guy, although I screw up a lot....I do think though that no matter how rich I end up, or how famous or successful....no matter who comes in my life and who I end up walking through life together with....I owe it all to God....That and opening some of those gosh darn mayonnaise jars...those suckers are a nightmare!
