Becky Bliss began her musical career at a very early age, making her professional recording debut at the tender age of five, with world-renowned children's producers/songwriters, Elizabeth and Kay Gant. Over the course of the next ten years, Becky's career continued to develop. She recorded three more albums, performed extensively with the Kansas City Symphony and Lyric Opera and was invited several times to sing for the Governor at his mansion in Kansas City, MO. In high school, Becky continued to perform with top choirs, win competitions and awards for her singing, and even toured Italy, performing in ancient cathedrals and churches all over the country. In 2001 Becky headed to college, where she began to work towards a degree in Vocal Performance. During her time at the University of Kansas, Becky performed in numerous operas, master classes, performing tours, Honors Recitals and even won second place at NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing), but it was outside the classical walls of KU that Becky found her passion for performing. Forming collaborations with some of Kansas City's most outstanding jazz and acoustic pop musicians, Becky began making a name for herself in the Kansas City music scene, and eventually found herself performing 3-4 nights a week at some of the hottest night spots on the Kansas City circuit. After graduating from the University of Kansas in December, Becky headed to New York City to pursue her musical career. Her brand new EP, Yellow Moon, is available for download here:
