Hi my name is nate, in 1994 i started to play the drums and sing with my 2 brothers mark and kieran when i was 14 years old,It was when my middle brother had won guitarist of the year at wembly london in 1997,that our musical career had started.we were playing as a joe satriani and steve vai tribute band when we got picked up in a music store by a manager who about 2 months later had 14 major labels interested.we had signed to universal records in 1998 and were called Next of Kin (and still are)we had a number 13 in the charts in the uk and toured for about a year with boyzone, five, westlife and britney spears. Due to record labels merging we had got caught up in it all and it had to end. since then me and the band have done many sessions for uk independent artists.we have written over 100 songs in this time (that are all in the pop rock genre),we have been giging our own material and doing the joe satriani and steve vai tribute around the uk and a little in europe. with the new sound we have had many other deals through the years, but sorry to say they don't always work out. we are looking for producers , enginers, promoters. to find the right direction any help would be apreciated ,you can check out the web site (run by jackie, bless her)on www.next-of-kin.co.ukmore personal stuff, I love making people laugh (if i can) im very happy pretty much all of the time,i seem to always find a funny side to everything.But i can also be serious when i need to be. saying that i i really love dark atmospheres e.g thunderstorms, very dark clouds and rain (sounds depressing don't it)it creates images in my mind that somewhere i could put in a film or something.im very active i like to walk and ride my bike for hours,me and my brother kieran do free running when we can around colchester. i just learnt a standing backflip that you can check out on my video's,(i shat my self.!!!!!!)If i could go back to the eightes i would,i just feel as though i should be 24 then not now.i watch a lot of eightes films and listen to anything 80's. I am really into supernatural things me and me mates we try to find ghost hot spots around the area.(ive seen quite alot of freaky things in my life so far (i will have to write a blog on it all.me and my brother are always talking about how we all are just sitting on a fucking big rock floating in space,(WIERD)MY AMBITIONS,i have come a long way with my brothers in this band,and we have gone through to much just to give it all up,i would just like to be a credible band at least, im not in it for the fame (had it once, TO FUCKING SCARY)it make's ya life to unstable. singing is my biggest passion ,and to put that across in our music is a great feeling .i would love to go to america and do storm chasing,i wanna pass my motorbike test so i can buy second hand ducati and customise it. and ride round parts of europe(ill probably never make before it breaks down but fuck it.have to go out now MORE TO COME SOON....my pics/ ..TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF - The Survey
