I am 30 and a former professional actress turned Event Planning Martial Artist. Hapkido that is. I lived in London for 5 months in college and it was the best time of my life. I am married to a guy that is truly the coolest. I love reading - i read about 5 books at once. I was a lit major along with theatre - I went to Denver University by the way - I was born in Russia but moved to America at 4. That was 1979 at the height of communism.I am a registered Democrat but have been disgusted by my own party's lack of balls. I worked on Clinton's campaign when i was 17 and got to meet him and still think he is one of the best president's ever, although my personal favorite is and always will be Franklin D. Roosevelt.I work for a museum as their special events planner and i really enjoy that job although i get paid crap to do it. I still do voice overs on the side here and there as the opportunity arises.I love sci-fi and good drama. I have a non-sexual crush on Ian McKellan who is my absolute favorite actor and person in the world. Yes i know he's a flaming queen - i said "non-sexual" remember!I love historical fiction and history in general - most especially English History - i am a true anglophile. My last boyfriend was English and the most fun i've ever had in my pre-married life was there. I would love to move there at some point in my life if money/opportunity ever arose.I would love to sharpen my language skills and work as a translator - but damn it if i can afford more schooling!I have a secret collection of star wars toys that are all currently boxed awaiting a basement toy room some day.I play piano, sing opera and act as the opportunities arise. I also love to horseback ride but never get the chance.

I'd like to meet:

Ian McKellan - first and foremost. I missed an opportunity to do so once and i always regretted that!Patrick Stewart - met him but not in a 'get to know you' kind of way. He's an amazing actor and a really nice guy!Steven Spielburg - been a fan of his work my whole life and think he's probably a nice guyBarack O'Bama - my pick for the future 1st black president of the US. He comes off so intelligent and amazing that I would love to sit down and chat w/ him moreDame Judi Dench - one of the grand stars of the theatre- i'd just like to chat with her about her lifeJohn McCain - the only republican i have ever found myself respecting. I'd love to see if he's for real and Chris Walken - he's just one creepy bastard

I also like Mozart and Beethoven a lot and the opera's of Puccini.
