Traveling. I love to take unplanned, irresponsible road trips. A while back me and a buddy took a 2,500+ mile journey that covered most of Alaska and parts of the Yukon in Canada.
I've been to Acme, Wyoming ; Tightwad, Missouri ; and Bat Cave, North Carolina ... all in the same week!
Check out the blog. You'll see a little more what makes me tick --- photography!
Anyone in the 49th state.
Especially anyone who is in to photography. This spring, before we start seeing the 20+ hours of sunlight, I want to get back into long exposure photography. Right now, it's just too bright at night.

I'm looking for anyone who:
a) knows anything about photographing the aurora borealis
b) knows of any old churches, cemetaries, abandoned buildings, or anything else that would make for a good photo under the full moon (shoot me an e-mail!)
c)who wouldn't mind tagging along during a long, cold night of photography under the full moon. Warm clothes, caffiene, and a sense of adventure required.
I'll listen to anything, but I prefer blues. If anyone wants to check out that blues joint on Northern Lights Blvd, lemme know.
Other than Clint Eastwood and Bruce Campbell all the good actors are dead.
I don't waste much time watching TV.
I read mostly essays and short stories. I'm not much into fiction. I like history, whether it's the history of politics, industry, science, music, art, whatever. I passionately stay up on current events, and misinformed people really piss me off -- I don't care if it's stupid urban legends that couldn't possibly be true, or some story in the news that is distorted or out of context. I have a tendency to lecture people who I think need to get lectured, but I'll ask a thousand questions of someone who knows more about something than I do. And I always respect the right of individuals to have a different opinion, or be completely wrong, or both.
My heroes are people who think for themselves, and have a passion for something greater than themselves. Ask me, and I'll tell you a cool story.
