My Name is Joe Wheate
I am a Student at Penn State Wilkes Barre
I am also a Enlisted Soldier in the United States Army Reserve
Currently Plan on Graduating College and Going active In the Army
I have great Friends and an amazing Girl in my Life
My friends have put up with me, and have joined me in what ive done, and what they have done, and i thank them everyday for it
The Army was a great expierence for me, and i would tell anyone to do it, it makes you see thinks completely different, and creates a brand new prespective on life as well as everything in it. It Taught me a new way to act, and a new way to respect everything, the friends i made i wont forget, and the times ive spent with them, in uniform and out of uniform. It gave me a way to be something not everyone can be, and gives you an outlook in life that you can always depend on. Ive had great leadership from both NCO's to Officers to student leadership, (collins as student first haha), all in all, id do it again if i had to, thats how great it was. Id also like to thank everyone for supporting me all the way through.
Id like to point out certain people who play important roles in my life, starting with Amber
Amber is my everything, she plays a huge impact on my life, and theirs nothing id change about her at all. Shes gone through so much with me, and she even supports me in my decision to be in the Army. I dont think id be able to do the things i do without her standing behind me and being able to make me happy, shes apart of my life more then my own. Shes that special someone that i never wish to depart from, and she does wondrous things for me that i cant even begin to describe because she that amazing as a person, and i love her every minute of my life
Joe Roll is my best friend, and almost a brother to me, he signed up into the army with me, and hes stepped up to the plate in being with me with every step. Were going into two different units, but were united under the same purpose. Ive had shit loads of fun with him haha, and hes a great guy, even when it comes to the dumb things he says, all in all joe's one of my closest friends, and i think thats going to be like that for a damn long time
My family has helped me with alot, and ive put them through worse, they someone accepted the fact with my army decision, and though its hard for my parents to accept it, they have, my brothers have come to an understanding to a degree at why im doing this. I love my family, and they have been the greatest asset, people, and my savior through out many of my years.
All of my friends have been great to me, and i respect them for it, and i thank all of them for it, even if i havent verbally said it, they mean alot to me
My life is one that i take for granted alot, but its a life i wouldnt have come to enjoy, without the people in it.
