Jack of all trades master of...how many? There are few artists that can play more than one instrument with an equal intensity. OMNI Blaize happens to be one such artist. OMNI plays the guitar, the bass, keyboards and even a little drums. He can spit and freestyle with some of the best MC's and still caress any instrumental with his timeless, classic, raspy vocals. OMNI has a versatile writing style that has been described as poetic storytelling. OMNI started his singing career as many before him...in church. As an MC, he started rhyming at 13 and later started a hip hop group, KENEK, in 1994 with fellow Stony Brook classmate, Chris Rel . OMNI has collaborated on several projects with up and coming NY song writers and producers. He is also apart of an MC collective called GBA Officials , made up of himself, Esspee and T-Elite. From Remote Lounge to Joe's Pub, Blaize is no stranger to the stage. OMNI has a sound all its own that is new yet so familiar. Currently OMNI can be seen with his band 2 Shades Darker performing all over NYC. You can especially find them at Nuyorican Cafe every last Wednesday of the month at 6 pm as the house band for "Write from Wrong" ,
