First and foremost, dont take my kindness for weakness. I am the most conservative person you have ever met but I do see both sides of the spectrum. I enjoy a good political conversation and I dont mind talking about religeon either. People who wont talk about politics and religeon either wouldnt know what they are talking about in the first place or are not comfortable enough in their own skin to state their stance. If you like sports we can get along. If you really understand sports we can more than likely be friends. I dont throw the word "friend" around. I prefer acquaintance for people I encounter and small talk with. My friends know who they are. I spent four years in the military after highschool and it is definately the best decision I have made to date. If you knew me before then, you would understand what I mean. I have traveled the world but I am not done yet. I live for the moment but always keep tomorrow in mind. As the band The Verve said "Im a million different people from one day to the next". I can adapt to any situation but sometimes choose to withdrawl. I find myself caught up in my own head most of the time. One friend said I am a great thinker. I have been through so many changes for the better in the last 3 years. Some people would call me crazy but I subtitute crazy for passionate. I know what I want and will settle for nothing less in this life. I find myself in conflict (much of which I bring on myself) but I always prevail. I am a very competitive person so if you do not like losing you should probably never challenge me. Life has thrown me many curve balls but I have managed to keep my weight back and come through with a clutch hit. If you dont understand that last statement you should probably get out more. When the pressure is high, you want me on your team. When the pressure is low, Ill let you deal with it. I am not one of those people who does not know what I am going to do after I graduate from college. I fully intend to attend Law School at one of the many fine universities that Texas has to offer. What if I dont score high enough on my LSAT...I will, simple as that. I am not sure what will happen tomorrow or the next day but I know I will be ready and smiling for what it has in store. I will bend but I will never break. Test me and you will find yourself in the test as well. There is only one thing I am afraid of in this world and that is being a failure, but I know what I want and I take it so failure is not an option. Im not a cat, Im a lion. I have hit rock bottom before so I know where I want to be and where I dont want to go. I push the envelope in every situation to find out where I stand. Everyone must know their limitations. I dont think I have any. You call me cocky, I call myself confident. I live for the future but never forget the past. I look for the best in every person I meet but I also look for the worst and then take the average. I have been known to judge people but I am always fair. I wont talk behind your back, I will say it to your face. As one of my best friends has said, "I look at every person and every situation as an oppotunity for growth and enlightenment". I wear my emotions on my sleeve. Why hide who you really are? It is what makes you unique. I believe that everything should be done in moderation. I am a country boy at heart but I can clean up with the best of them. I dont like whiskey, but Ill drink a cold brewsky or two or three with ya. I never judge a book by its cover, but nonverbals can speak volumes. I dont like having to fish for the real in you, I appreciate it when you are who you are. If what I have written has opened your eyes then give me a shout. If what I have written has turned you off, too bad.
