The Chosen One

Everyday is a new chance to do something great!

About Me

I look at everything I do and every person I meet as an opportunity to enhance my knowledge of the world. I am a recent graduate from the University of Texas at Austin, HOOK 'EM HORNS, and I love it here in Austin. I consider myself a political man. Living in Austin is practice all the time for what I want to do with my life, politics. I look forward to law school in the next couple of years. In the end, I would sacrifice anything for unconditional love and happiness. I am a trusting, sincere, passionate, intelligent, and ambitious man trying to make the world a better place one day at a time...

My Interests

I love computers, music, politics, learning, and meeting new people.

I'd like to meet:

As many people that come to mind here, I would like to meet myself many years ago in an effort to persuade myself to take advantage of the many opportunities that I have let pass me by.

Music:

It is very hard to narrow down a specific kind of music I enjoy when so many different songs and bands come to mind. I am not a huge fan of oldies and a lot of country gets on my nerves. Besides that, crank it up!

Movies:

There are so many great movies, let me see if I can list my top ten (in no specific order): Rounders, A Beautiful Mind, The Notebook, Almost Famous, Braveheart, Walk the Line, Goodnight and Goodluck, The Crow, Lord of The Rings, and Serenity. But don't get the wrong idea, I love comedy, it just doesn't impact me the same way as drama. There are so many more, I just can't think and who really cares?

Television:

As a poor college student, I discovered many TV series that keep my ass parked on the couch and my money in my pocket, including: Entourage, Deadwood, 24, Grey's Anatomy, The 4400, and Nip Tuck. I am also an anime junky, but I won't get into that.

Books:

Just some random titles: The DaVinci Code, Left Behind (The Series), and any Michael Crichton novel. Sorry, I don't read enough and I can hardly remember the titles of what I have read in the past.

Heroes:

Is something wrong with me if I don't have any real heroes? I can't think of anyone that I have molded my life after or looked up to at this point. I can say, from the bottom of my heart, that the real heroes are the men and women serving in our military and police and fire departments that make it possible for us to do whatever it is we decide to do.

Summertime Spanish

Ok, so this summer I decided I have to take Spanish 3 and 4 in an effort to minimize my load in my last semester at UT. I mean seriously, who wants to take 15 hours their last semester when they can t...

An American Tragedy

A great tragedy has occurred on a University campus this week. As I am sure you are all aware, a young man brandishing a couple of hand guns took the lives of thirty three people before taking his own...
