I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Try the BEST MySpace Editor at MySpace Toolbox ! Went to college for a very, very long time, just to get a Bachelor's Degree. Took 'the road less traveled'. I've been working in post-production for a while now, focusing on audio for the past several years. I'm happy in my life now. My wife & I have been married for over 14 years now, and we both have jobs we actually like. I'm not a musician, but I do love music, noise, sound, and audio...

My Interests

Music. Sound. Audio. Noise. I also LOVE Thai food and Japanese food (not just sushi).......And the Los Angeles Dodgers of Los Angeles...............I've recently discovered red wine............................................... I almost forgot COFFEE, ESPRESSO, and GUINNESS!!!

I'd like to meet:

My biological grandfathers, Ferdinand & Griffith (both died long before I was born). Basically, I joined MySpace to stay in contact with musicians whose work I enjoy. Plus, I am hoping to re-connect with some friends that I have lost contact with over the years. The Dalai Lama would be interesting...

Music:

so many to list, but here are some current faves: R.E.M., Robyn Hitchcock, King Crimson (and associated members: Trey Gunn, Tony Levin, P@ Mastelotto, Adrian Belew, Robert Fripp, etc.), Flaming Lips, John Coltrane, Velvet Underground, Miles Davis, X, Jane's Addiction, The Cramps, and many, many more...basically from Brian Eno to Buckethead and everything in between....

Movies:

Trainspotting, Boogie Nights, Goodfellas, Full Metal Jacket, Apocalypse Now, Raising Arizona, Pulp Fiction, SLC Punk, Buffalo 66, The Silence Of The Lambs, Blue Velvet, Hedwig And The Angry Inch, The Royal Tennenbaums, and American History X. Just about anything by Scorcese, Kubrick, PT Anderson, Lynch, and Tarantino.

Television:

"The Office" "30 Rock' & 'No Reservations'. 'Dexter' is pretty cool, too. I really like 'Dirty Jobs' & 'Mythbusters'. My new favourite these days is "Top Gear" on BBC America.

Books:

"Trainspotting" By Irvine Welsh. Just about anything by David Sedaris. I'm trying to read a bunch of audio related books (and magazines) when I can.

Heroes:

we could be, just for one day
