Robert Hawkins has been singing since he first began to form words as a toddler. Robert was born in Chicago, IL in 1982 and moved to Kalamazoo, MI when he was 6 years old. His vocal gifts and energetic personality led to him winning numerous talent shows and music competions. Robert's ministry through music is contagious. The fire he has to sing praise to the Lord has ignited into a ministry of other young adults. In 2002, Unified Praise was formed from that group of young adults. Robert Hawkins & Unified Praise recorded their first LP in 2004. Robert Hawkins & Unified Praise has shared the stage with Kirk Franklin, Twinkie Clark, Marvin Sapp, The Clark Sisters, just to name a few.
