Photo taken by Hart Ryan Noecker I spent my 30th birthday at the Farm Animal Sanctuary in upstate NY...
I've already met him."I was working on the proof of one of my poems all the morning, and took out a comma. In the afternoon I put it back again." Oscar Wilde..."One ought, every day at least, to hear a little song, read a good poem, see a fine picture, and if it were possible, to speak a few reasonable words." Johann Wolfgang von Goethe German dramatist, novelist, poet, & scientist (1749 - 1832) Writers, musicians, left-wing lovelies, photographers, artists, travelers, fellow grad students, a platonic sugar daddy, bookish folks, more vegetarians/vegans.
Love 70's funk (love it!)...listening to my girl Katey B sing and other things like Tegan and Sara, Catherine Feeney, Hot Hot Heat, Patty Griffin, Liz Durett, ambient when I'm in the mood (which is often), Deathcab for Cutie, Mason Jennings, Ani Difranco, Beck, Prince, No Doubt, Postal Service, The Be Good Tanyas (thanks KT), Neutral Milk Hotel, Califone, James Taylor and more but now I'm tired of typing.
Favorite movie of all time still has to be The Neverending Story but I love independent films and foreign flicks. A short list: Being There, Capote, Cube, Donnie Darko, Love Liza, Coffee and Cigarettes, Melvin Goes to Dinner, Losing Mahoney, Me You and Everyone We Know, The Station Agent, Maria Full of Grace...March of the Penquins made me very happy because Penguins are wonderful.
I don't own a television but it's rather amusing how everyone wants very badly to give me one whenever they hear that. I only watch TV when I'm at my parent's house and it's on and I'm bored.
