The peace symbol's design combines two flag signals, one for N and one for D, to represent Nuclear Disarmament. Adopted by anti-war protesters in the '60s, the symbol eventually became a universal sign of peace and love.
I love reminding people how to be romantic, helping couples improve their sensuality (no, not swinging!).

ABOUT MY GUITAR:
This guitar has a history. My daughter and I were in the car listening to the radio one day, and it was on the anniversary of Jimi Hendrix's death. The station held a contest to win this guitar. The winner was "Russ Martin." My cousin's best friend's name was Russ Martin, so I called my Aunt to get his number, called him on my cel phone and told him, "Dude! You just won a Hendrix Guitar on the radio!"
I told him to grab his driver's license and meet me at the station, I'll take his picture getting the guitar.
So he says, "Honnney, I'm jus' sittin' here bakin brownies and watchin Oprah, I'd be happy to!" So my daughter & I met him there, and he got the guitar, a Hendrix CD and a radio station T-shirt.
When we left and were going down the elevator, my daughter and I were practically peeing our pants, squealing and cradling the guitar in our arms like a baby!
Russ says, Honnnney, I'm not really even sure who this Jimi guy was. I think it's great... I got a CD and a T-shirt, and YOU got a guitar!"
YAAHHHHHOOOOOOOO! Are you Kidding me????????? I'm a newspaper publisher and I get freebies all the time. Since then I've given that guy every press pass, every freebie on cruise ships, every theatre ticket I've gotten since. Even sent him backstage to his dream band, "K.C. and the Sunshine Band." (yeah, I know......but they put on a GREAT show!) RIP Russ. AIDS sucks.
So that's the story of my Fender Strat Jimi Hendrix Guitar. Fender took the blueprints to Eric Clapton's guitar, and flipped them mirror image. Because Jimi was left handed, this is how it felt to him when he played a right handed guitar. Even the logo is mirror image. It's my second pride and joy in the world.

Full Moon drum festivals at Dandelion CommuniTEA. People just feeling the spirit of the full moon, the cool breezes, dancing, swaying to the rhythmic heartbeat of the drums, playing flutes, twirling hula hoops... just holding each other and feeling the positive energy that the earth and the stars bring. It is awesome, touching a beautiful hand, feeling the positive energy emulating forth into mine, seeing the peace in other's eyes and faces, makes me realize that my life journey's bumps in the road are just teeny compared to the magnitude and beauty of the universe, and that life is good.
