The New York City club scene in the early 90’s served as a foundation to what would become his passion for House Music and launch his career by the mid/late 90’s at a time when NYC was booming with mega clubs. His clubbing days ate Sound Factory (old and new) Palladium, Tunnel, Limelight and Twilo had a profound affect on his career, shaping his style of playing and production. Djing at major clubs such as Avalon, Branch, Saci, Vue, Gemini and the world famous after hours ate Le Souk as a resident Jock. During this time he began taking production lessons with friends. The world first took notice of Briones and new partner Mario Calegari with their first single called Dark Samba released under the label Fatal Music Making it to the top charts of the best DJ’s in the world such as Tenaglia, Calderone, Vibe and Chus and Cebbalos just to name a few. Working ate his home and Calegari’s studio they have teamed up with Fatal Music to rock the world and bring to there audience through there DJ Sets a NY experience that few can carry on there backs
A cena club da Cidade de New York no inicio dos anos 90 serviu como base para a paixão de Ray Briones pela música eletronica e para impulsionar sua carreira na metade dos anos 90, numa época aonde NYC prosperava com mega clubs. Seus dias de clubbing na Sound Factory, Palladium, Tunnel, Limelight e Twilo afetaram profundamente na sua carreira, moldando seu estilo de discotecar e produzir.
Tocou na maioria dos clubs importantes, tais como Gypsy Tea,Life, Axiom, Avalon NYC , Veruka, Branch, Saci, Village Underground, Vue, World, Gemini e o mundial famoso After Hours no Le Souk, aonde fixou residência. Durante este tempo começou a tomar lições de produção musical com top producers os amigos paulistas DJ Luizinho e Leo Leite.
O mundo acabou conhecendo Ray Briones e seu parceiro de estúdio Mario Calegari, através do seu release “Dark Samba†que foi lançado pela respeitada gravadora Fatal Music de propriedade do produtor Jaimy. Dark Samba teve o suporte dos melhores DJs do mundo como Tenaglia, Calderone, Vibe e Chus & Cebalos, somente para nomear alguns. Trabalhando incansalvelmente no seu home studio e no Calegari studio, fazem os hits para a Fatal Music, com o objetivo de balançar o mundo e atrair a atençao do público a conhecer o seu DJ set com toda a influência que somente a cidade de New York pode proporcionar. Seguramente ele é um dj que você precisa ouvir e dançar.
