Brazil born Paula Pedroza is a truly global house artist. Growing up in Brazil under the watchful eye of her uncle – also a DJ – Pedroza developed an appreciation for house music at an early age.As she began DJing professionally Pedroza watched her career and notoriety blossom, leading the Brazil beauty to shuttle between Brazil and New York, playing respected state-side clubs such as Pink Elephant and Sullivan Room. Eventually, Pedroza parlayed the international demand to a move, settling in New York to further her DJing. "I chose New York where some of the worlds best started and where house music was born to fulfill my desire to be a DJ," says Paula.Fulfill that desire is exactly what she did. The combination of Pedroza’s sultry looks with a refined selection of bass-driven techno and tribal influenced house led to early residencies in some of New York’s most highly regarded clubs including “BED” and nights "Dirty Disco" and "Moomia" in Soho. From there, she went on to play nearly every nightclub in New York’s upper echelon, including Pacha and Le Souk and eventually branched out to the rest of the east coast and beyond.Now back in Brazil pursuing an even further international reach, Pedroza’s DJ resume not only includes her close work with designers such as Valentino and Colcci, but a month-long tour in Tunisia, a plethora of Brazil tours (including her residency for Pacha’s “Fetish” party), and billing alongside industry heavyweights from Sebastian Ingrosso to Tocadisco to Booka Shade. Her building reputation skill-wise and as Pacha darling garnered industry attention and Pedroza was nominated “Best New Talent 2008” by DJ Mag Brazil. Currently, she has completed her first EP, “Anjos” release on Stripped UK and several other singles slated for release in the upcoming year.Musically, there’s not much Paula can’t do, “I appreciate all forms of house music from deep bass driven techno to progressive to funky groovin’ house. I love it all and there is always a little of everything in my sets, allowing me to play for all types of crowds." Paula Pedroza sempre esteve muito conectada e cativada pela house music. Intensamente influenciada por seu tio, tambem DJ, Paula comeca sua historia em sua cidade natal, Rio de Janeiro. Depois de se formar em graphic design Paula se sente que seria o momento de tomar um novo rumo em sua carreira e parte para nao menos que a infame Nova Iorque."Escolhi a cosmopolita Nova Yorque, onde a house nasceu e onde alguns grandes djs comecaram suas carreiras. "E foi o que ela fez. Sua estréia foi no famoso club CAIN, onde contagiou o público com sua música e estilo. Acolhida pelos exigentes New Yorkers, rapidamente se tornou residente na badalada BED em chelsea e do entao novo Dirty Disco no west village, onde tinha sua propria noite, nas competitivas noites de sextas feiras. As tercas, sua residencia fervia no club Moomia no movimentado Soho.Na sequencia conquistou datas regulares na legendaria Pacha NYC, tocando nas edicoes da festa Made in Brasil e Mind Control. Ao longo de seus 2 anos morando em NY tocou em clubs como: Le Souk, Sullivan Room, APT, 205,Pink Elephant (em Hamptons), Bar 13, no conhecido evento Turnatable on the Hudson, club Exit entre outros. Em New Jersey no Guitar Bar, Arena, XL Lounge, e Deko. Ainda nos EUA no Purferbelies,TABU & Dragon, em BOSTON, Club Cinema, em MIAMI ,Tuxedo e Horizon em CONNECTICUT. Aura em Whiteplains. Paula ja tocou para a marcas como Valentino Red (NY) e produziu trilha para o desfile da Colcci (NY). No Brasil ja tocou para Adidas e Ellus. E produziu trilha para desfile de Guilherme Tavares, Drosofila e Claudia Simoes.De volta ao Brasil, Paula tem datas regulares na Pacha SP e nas festa itinerantes da Pacha pelo brasil, alem de ser residente da Fetish Party, festa regular classica, sucesso da Pacha de Ibiza. Ja passou tambem por clubs como: Pacha Buzios, Pacha Florianopolis, Sirena, El Divino (Florianopolis), LIFE CLUB (Florianopolis) THE CULT (Balneario Camboriu), em festas como:Ministry of Sound, Dance for Life, IPANEMA BEACH (TIM EVENT-RJ) GLAM (cais do oriente RJ) Nud (SP) Circus (DF) ZeroZero (RJ), Fosfobox(RJ), Dama de Ferro (RJ), 69 (RJ) entre outros.Paula acaba de voltar da Tunisia onde foi residente por um mes do Oasis Club, o maior club da Africa. Onde conquistou o publico com sua versatilidade musical. Em apenas 3 anos de carreira, Paula se orgulha em ter tocado ao lado de nomes como Sander Kleinemberg, Gui Boratto, Sebastian Ingrosso, Booka Shade, Sarah Main, Gold Fish, Tocadisco, Richard Grey, Boris, Richie Santana, Gold Fish, Rachael Starr, Outwork, Gerardo Boscarino, entre outros. Agora, produzindo seus primeiros tracks, Paula sente que trabalhando no estudio sua percepcao esta mais aprimorada" produzir mudou muito a maneira que escolho as musicas que toco, fiquei mais seletiva."Espere o inesperado quando ela esta tocando, ela e arrojada quando esta no comando das pickups.
