James Adams, 31 years old, never took himself seriously as a musician until he met label boss Sascha Panknin....... Then he fell about laughing !
After reeling off 50 or so stoned ramblings in a three day recording session back in 1999 (mumbling in the corner) he was offered a record deal with 5000 , an independant indie and electro bossa label . In short the cult album " Stripdown " was Born .
Living in London and working as a Blacksmith , James persued Panknin about the Globe interested to hear that he " Adams " had penned his first radio hit for the Germans " easy when the sun go down ". which has featured on "Virgin"
compilation "sunny side up"
Three exhausting years Later Adams made his second album "comeback crazy " Having teamed up with Wig ,formally of "Etherreal " on lead guitar and borrowing other musos , the beginnings of an international band arose .
Gigs in London were followed by Gigs in Spain last year. James is now living in Scotland with his dog "Nesta " and is giging hard in the local area .He is recording with the label between Spain , London and Scotland and is to release a decisive Album out by the end of the year .For more info check www.5000records.com
