Have lived on Skye for past 11 years. I play around the highlands and islands as an acoustic solo act, playing any range of covers and orional material. I have been the lead singer and writer for The Doc Livingstone Band, have been and still are well known for their powerful performances at venues and festivals up and down the west coast. I also play in a semi acoustic trio act Known as The Kings Of Haakon who play raw and enegetic covers of anything from Johnny Cash to the Pearl Jam and the Chillis. I have been performing recently as well with Sally Fraser, a well known local singer from lLochalsh and we have one or two gigs planned over the summer. those two acts , combined with Dave Siddley of Puzzled monkey from Inverness, have formed Uncle Rocket, an origonal band who will be playing around the country this summer at various venues. This is my main focus in writing and performing at the moment, although there are one or two other backburners which I may attempt later in the year.
