Michelle & The L.A. Bitches

Bonjour mes amis!

About Me

Welcome to Mademoiselle Michelle & the L.A. Bitches profile...no we are not a punk rock band. I simply have 4 female dogs that I am absolutely crazy about! Meet my spoiled bitches:

SWEET LITTLE BITCH - Zoe the adorable chocolate Chi who is a sweetheart and loves everyone. (1 year old and 4 lbs)

FEISTY BITCH - Lola the vicious vanilla Chihuahua who barks and growls at everyone. (Lola will be 3 May 12th)
Lola is also a Greedy Bitch! Here she has taken the other Bitches Biscuits and is hoarding them all for herself!

DUMB BITCH - Coco Chanel aka Fluffy the airhead Maltese who is ultra aloof and a very finicky eater. (2 years old) MALTY TIP: Fluff used to get ugly Red Yeast tear stains by her eyes until I discovered "Angel Eyes" powder! It's a miracle! Not cheap, but it REALLY WORKS!! www.angelseyesonline.com

CRANKY OLD BITCH - Honey the 10 year old shepherd mix is the grandma of the house and tries her best to put up with the crazy little bitches.

Zoe and Lola in a past life with Jayne Mansfield!
ABOUT ME: Ecclectic, romantic, passionate, creative. I was born in Germany, moved to Chicago at age 6 and then to LA at 16. I have traveled to many amazing places all over the world but CALIFORNIA is HOME. The joy of my life is my beautiful daughter Amanda who has grown into an amazing woman...and of course, my beloved animals. They bring a smile to my face every day.

My Interests

I'm a LOVER not a Fighter:
WINE LOVER...Life is too short to drink cheap wine.
BEACH LOVER...I have a pretty big seashell collection. They are all over my house. Although I love the Pacific because it's in my own backyard, my favorite beaches are the tropical ones I have visited in the Virgin Islands, Bahamas and Jamaica. Clear, warm, wonderful water!

SUSHI LOVER...It's a serious problem...for my wallet! (I'm a vegetarian but I do love my seafood!)
MUSIC LOVER...I am loving all the great bands I have discovered here on My Space. Music means the WORLD to me....can't live without my tunes...love to dance, dance, dance to the soundtrack of my life.
ART LOVER...Art is like air and I cannot breathe without it. Art, antiques, vintage collectables. I have always been passionate about A R T. My favorite subject at UCLA was art history. I was on the LA County Museum of Art Costume Council and Musem Service Council for many years.

Natalia Fabia

Artist Nathan Janes - Looks my Zoe!
Artist Nathan Janes - Looks like my Princess Coco(Fluff)!

Miles Thompson

ANIMAL LOVER...I like animals more than people and absolutely adore my critters. Besides my dogs and cats I also have an aquatic turtle and a very old bunny we got when my daughter was in 5th grade and she is now in her third year of college at SFSU!!! We've made some very cool "dog friends" on My Space.
Lola is quite the fashionista! She comes to work with me and has her own swank little leopard couch in my office.

Thumper - World's oldest bunny! RIP 1997 - 2/6/08

The Divine Mr. Dolce

My canine grandson Biggie...my daughter's little Pug pup. Isn't he adorable!!!

They call me "Mother Nature."

My dear dog Bailey who gave us 12 years of love until cancer took him away on 10/29/06...R.I.P. old friend.

Such a long, long time to be gone and a short time to be here. (Robert Hunter)

In Loving Memory of my other furry friends who have passed on over the last 2 years...I miss you Baby, Wolfie, Lady and Sasha.

FASHION LOVER...Shop 'til you drop baby! My fab daughter Amanda is my best shopping buddy. She is always ready to join me in some retail therapy. I must confess that I have a bit of a shoe and purse addiction which seems to be genetic because she has the same problem!

Mandy loves Rodeo Drive!
Thrilling My Space Fashion Moment - I loved the show Project Runway. I found the designer Santino on MS and he added me as a friend. Then he posted a bulletin that he was having a garage sale at his pad in LA! Of course I got up bright and early and had the first pick of all the cool stuff. Vintage cobalt glass wall sconces, Joshua Tree T-shirt, tons of fab fabric, books...What a super nice guy he turned out to be. And so TALL!!!

I also get my kicks from shopping for treasures in vintage/antique stores, flea markets, estate sales and ebay. I am interested in and enjoy a lot of things. Breathing is Number One. So, until I take that final breath I will continue to enjoy music, art, literature, film, good wine, playing with my critters, sleeping in, being lazy on Sunday, breakfast in bed (Croissants with French preserves and honey, Constant Comment or Hibiscus Tea), anything FRENCH, anything PINK, the beach, home improvement projects, cooking shows, Williams Sonoma, Le Creuset cookware, Bomb Ass BBQ's, Nutella, Orangina, reading, gardening, sushi, sunsets, shoes, marzipan, museums, moonbeams, raindrops, snowflakes melting on my tongue, horseback rides to remote waterfalls, my well worn Havaianas and comfy uggs, laughing so hard I pee my pants, weekend getaways, Vegas Baby, Palm Springs, Santa Ynez Valley, Nappa, San Francisco, Union Square shops, Santa Barbara, Summerland, Chicago, camping, aromatherapy, orchids, girlscout cookies, concerts, cosmetics, candles, bubblebaths, goosebumps, dark chocolate, seashells, Kiehl's Musk, fast cars & slow hands, massages/spa treatments, Mani/Pedi, Peanut Butter & Jelly, silly love songs, kittens, puppies, sunshine, Maryjane, Lounge Music, retro, The Hustler Store on Sunset, Trader Joe's, Rodeo Drive, Topanga, Malibu, Tuscany, Provence, Home Depot, Barneys, Paris, Egypt, Greece, Jamaica Mon.

I am also interested in eastern philosophy, yoga, self realization, nature, metaphysics, victorian graveyards, psychic & supernatural phenomenon, aliens and all that trippy stuff. Yes, I know...I am sooo LA!

I have a fondness for vintage photography especially daguerreotypes, CDV, 19th Century Post mortem, Circus freaks, Bettie Page, Pin Ups, risque French Postcards, Turn of the Century Nudes, Grundworth, Biederer, Ostra...I am absoultely fascinated by this glimpse into the past and spend hours on ebay finding images to fall in love with.
